Amra Olevic meets Anastasia Beverly Hills
If you haven’t heard of Amra Olevic than you need to check out her Instagram @Amrezy ASAP for ultimate #glowgoals. A beauty influencer boasting 5.5 million followers, her feed is full of envious outfits and of course her absolutely flawless makeup. She has just released a highlighter in collaboration with the coveted makeup brand Anastasia Beverly Hills, so all us normal folk can glow just like the reigning glow queen herself.
This soft champagne gold is a highlighter that packs a full punch with a very unique formula – it is almost plasticky to touch yet soft and buttery – and the most unique thing about the formula? ZERO FALLOUT. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you can dip your brush in over and over again and there will absolutely no trace of kick-up. How is that even possibly for a powder you may ask? We will never know.
The Amrezy highlighter is not too warm-toned nor too cool-toned so this highlighter is universally flattering for all skin tones. With just one swipe, I was able to achieve an every day glow (and by every day glow I mean not so subtle), but for the babes out there that love to be seen from outer space – I was able to achieve maximum illumination at just a couple of sweeps. It has a very beautiful sheen, and no traces of glitter – which is perfect for me because although I don’t mind a bit of glitter in my glow, too much glitter can quickly be a turn off for me – just a personal preference.
This highlighter has quickly become one of my favourite highlighters (along with the limited edition Perfect Topping by Mac and Peach Goddess by Jeffree Star Cosmetics) and although I try to use it sparingly because it is limited edition, I can’t help but get a little excessive – It gives off such a beautiful radiance when applied to the cheekbones, temples, tip of the nose, and cupid’s bow – but if you’re extra like myself it also ends up in my inner corners of my eyes to really make them pop as well as the brow bone, shoulders and collar bones.
Don’t sleep on this guys – the Anastasia Beverly Hills website as well as Cult Beauty still have these babies in stock and will also be launching on Beauty Bay soon.
