Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival
Much more than just a display, Ally Pally Fireworks Festival will also feature an awe-inspiring laser show, while the Palace’s iconic Great Hall will be transformed into a Bierkeller of gigantic proportions for the UK’s largest German Bier Festival. An army of Bavarian wait staff will be on hand serving steins of the finest imported beer before revellers head outside to witness the display from the Terrace. A full evening of live music will be headlined by a Queen (Friday) and Take That (Saturday) tribute band and Club De Fromage DJs.
The famous ice rink will also be open for public sessions throughout the day, before transforming into an ice disco following the display.
StrEATlife returns following its summer outings and will play host to over 50 mouth-watering street food vendors, craft beer, mulled wine and cocktails, and a live music tent. Expect incredible food, big beats, big brass and a big party vibe.
Headlining StrEATlife on Friday will be Norman Jay MBE, one of the finest and most respected DJs in the world today. Jay’s career has spanned the best part of four decades, and his Good Times Sound System is a major attraction to those who attend Notting Hill Carnival.
In the lower field, this year’s Family Zone has been expanded with more food and drink stalls than ever before, with lots of space for families to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy entertainment from day through to evening. There’ll also be a giant bonfire lit on both nights, a live music tent, special appearance from Horrible Histories and a funfair full of rides that all the family will enjoy.
