Better Health Campaign UK

This week the UK government launched their Better Health campaign; encouraging people to lose weight, beat COVID-19 and help protect the NHS.

Junk food ads before 9pm are banned, along with “buy one get one free” promos and confectionary shop displays at checkout. Alcohol companies and large eateries have to put calories on labels, and bike rides are being encouraged. But with healthy options seemingly more expensive than processed foods, is it likely the public will change their lifestyles in time for a coming second wave?
